Introduction
Creating an email account in DirectAdmin allows you to set up professional email addresses with your domain. Here's how to create a new email account:
Steps:
- Log in to your DirectAdmin panel.
- Navigate to 'Email Management' under the 'Account Manager' section.
- Click on 'Create Mail Account'.
- Fill out the form:
- Email: The name of the email (e.g.,
[email protected]
). - Password: Choose a strong password.
- Quota: Set the mailbox size (optional).
- Email: The name of the email (e.g.,
- Click 'Create'.
The new email account will now be available for use.
Accessing Your Email:
- You can access your email through Webmail by going to
http://yourdomain.com:2222
and logging into the Webmail interface with your email account credentials. - You can also set up your email client (Outlook, Thunderbird) using IMAP/SMTP settings provided in DirectAdmin.
